Mablethorpe
Mablethorpe is a charming seaside resort situated on the east coast. It is a wonderful centre for families and senior citizens who return again and again. Mablethorpe has a wealth of things for the visitor to do; the Seal Sanctuary and Nature Centre, play centres, funfairs and a super range of charming shops to pick up that special memento.
There is an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants, bars and nightclubs all offering individual entertainment; or the beautiful parks and gardens, which are the pride of Mablethorpe.
The safe, award winning sandy beach stretches for miles and is a giant playground for the children and adults alike. Within minutes you can be enjoying a round of golf at nearby Sandilands, casting out for fish from one of the many beaches or local ponds, or taking nature in by walking along to the Seal Sanctuary.
Louth
Travel from the Lincolnshire Wolds towards the coast and you focus on St James' spire, 500 years old and 295 feet high, your first glimpse of Louth. As you get closer its warm stone contrasts with the red brick and pantiles of the houses. A concoction of different styles in an intricate network of streets. Altogether a satisfying blend.
As well as the markets, the surrounding farmland provides mouthwatering, fresh produce for the local shops, cafes and tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.
Sutton on Sea
A charming seaside village, Sutton on Sea has a tranquil and safe atmosphere and the award-winning beach is the jewel in the crown of this lovely quiet resort.
There is much to discover: the golden beach, the Pleasure Gardens which includes a paddling pool, tennis, crazy golf and bowls or just enjoy a cup of tea in one of the many tearooms in the village. Take a pleasure ride on the open-top bus and you will arrive in Trusthorpe.
Other Coastal Attractions
The Lincolnshire Coast is host to two very different seaside experiences - The Fun Coast and the Rural Coast.
Splashing, laughing, sand and sea - The Fun Coast, stretching from Skegness to Mablethorpe is home to some of the finest seaside resorts in the UK. The most famous resort must be Skegness one of the UK's top seaside destinations and famous for the Jolly Fisherman. Chapel St. Leonards is a mixture of the traditional and the modern whilst Ingoldmells is home to the famous Fantasy Island Millennium Roller Coaster and Butlins. Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea are three out of only 83 European Blue Flag beaches UK wide and they also have the Tidy Britain Group's Seaside Award.
Between and beyond the popular beaches the haunt of wildlife thrives in the unbroken tranquility of the Rural Coast. Gibraltar Point, Saltfleetby, Crook Bank, Donna Nook, Moggs Eye and more all reward those seeking the natural coastline. Off the beaten track, a haven for nature lovers, birdwatchers, conservationists and the romantics. These wild stretches of sand are some of Lincolnshire's greatest natural assets.

Lincoln
As you approach the City of Lincoln, from any direction, you are drawn to the magnificent silhouette of the Cathedral stretching to the skies, brooding over 2000 years of history. From the cobbled streets and antiques to the modern art scattered throughout the city, the past and present is all around.
Many events throughout the year make historic Lincoln irresistible – the famous Christmas Market, the Brayford Waterfront Festival and the weekend that most attractions open for free – Discover Lincoln Weekend.
Lincoln is loved by visitors of all ages and is a great place for a weekend break or family days out. Compact, and full of diverse things to do and places to see, unique shops, peaceful walks, places to eat good local food, and of course the cathedral and castle.
Market Rasen
Market Rasen is a small bustling market town standing on the River Rase on the western edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, and surrounded by rich farmland. Although famous for the only racecourse in Lincolnshire there's more to Market Rasen.
One of the western gateways to the Wolds, Market Rasen once had an important tanning industry and became prosperous in Victorian times with the arrival of the railways. Now it is quiet roads, pleasant footpaths and beautiful countryside that attracts the visitors. There are all kinds of shops in the town and of course, the market still thrives on Tuesdays (auction), Fridays and Saturdays.
And if you take in a race meeting – Good Luck!
Horncastle
It may be dubbed 'Best Antiques Town' but there’s more to it, a kind of satisfying Englishness that prevails in Horncastle. This is country living at a manageable pace.
Standing between the Rivers Waring and Bain, the walls of the Roman town can still be seen. A flourishing town in the Middle Ages, and again with the coming of the railway, look back comfortably on the past as you stroll around the dozens of antique shops, packed with curiosities and furniture from bygone ages. The fine 18th & 19th century buildings hold a surprise or two. The King’s Head has an unusual legacy; it is one of the country’s original mud and stud construction pubs, few others exist. The Old Grocers shop, now a newsagent, was the business of a certain Mr Henry Lunn, later the successful travel agent.
You have to visit Horncastle to capture it. The relaxing atmosphere, the steady pace, and simple pleasures of a traditional English town.
Where a warm welcome and a relaxing stay awaits.
